Release ① of 2026-09-27. Closes #1 (link only).

Data

  • New: 10 Snapdragon wearable SoCs, Galaxy Watch9 40/44 mm, Galaxy Watch Ultra 2, Pixel Watch 4 41/45 mm
  • Watches: Galaxy Watch4–7 and Ultra linked to Exynos W920/W930/W1000; placeholder soc: "0" removed
  • Accuracy: 307 records corrected from their own text (tablet/watch/phone storage lists, iPad Pro battery, laptop storage, monitor size/resolution/aspect ratio)

Engine and CI

Static API refreshed up to the wearables batch; the latest accuracy fixes ship with the next dump.

Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Big and Revolution, Samsung Vodafone 360 H1,
Galaxy S Giorgio Armani and Hoppin, Galaxy S WiFi 5.0, W999, Galaxy
Player 70 Plus, Vertu Constellation, Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro and Xiaomi
Watch S4 Sport listed their storage (16/32 GB) as RAM. Each value now
comes from a source quoting the RAM, added to source_urls.

Refs #1
TechEngine #95 diffs against the PR's real base instead of a hard-coded
origin/develop (release PRs reported no changes) or origin/main (develop
PRs over-counted). Pass base_ref/base_sha from the validation relay,
verify-report and /verify. scores.jsonl is a 43 MB generated cache that
TechEngine no longer reads from git; untrack and ignore it.

#1 had 329 comments and 215 linked PRs because every data PR closed #1
and got a tracker comment. Route by kind instead: releases and dumps ->
#1, new records -> #295, fixes -> #296, ci/app -> #297, site -> #19, and
keep a tracker the author already linked. The automatic tracker comment
now only fires for release PRs. The data summary counts all 12
categories.

Refs #297
…tra 2

Ten Qualcomm wearable SoCs from Wikipedia's Snapdragon list (Wear 1100,
1200, 2500, 4100, 4100+, W5/W5+ Gen 1 and Gen 2, Wear Elite) and the 2026
Galaxy Watch9 40/44 mm and Watch Ultra 2 from the Galaxy Watch series
spec table.

Refs #295
…soc "0" on watches

The Galaxy Watch series spec table names each model's chip: W920 (Watch4,
Watch4 Classic, Watch5, Watch5 Pro), W930 (Watch6, Watch6 Classic), W1000
(Watch7, Ultra). Add Exynos W920/W930 from Wikipedia's Exynos table. The
other 18 watch records had the placeholder soc "0" with nothing naming a
chip, so drop it, as #271 did for tablets.

Refs #296
…itor size/resolution from each record's own text

- tablet/watch storage_options_gb re-parsed from memory_internal where the
import mixed the RAM size into the storage list (259 records)
- iPad Pro 12.9 (2015, 2017) battery_mah restored from the raw battery text
- 3 laptops: storage_gb taken from the configuration in the model name
- monitors: size_inch and resolution taken from the listing name (5), and
aspect_ratio nulled where it contradicts the pixel resolution (24)

Refs #296
The import merged each edition's RAM into storage_options_gb (e.g. [2, 3, 16, 32]
for "16 GB, 2 GB RAM or 32 GB, 3 GB RAM"). Re-parsed per edition from the
record's memory_internal text.

Refs #296
…Pixel Watch 4

Adds pages for 10 Snapdragon wearable SoCs, Galaxy Watch9 40/44 mm, Galaxy
Watch Ultra 2 and Pixel Watch 4 41/45 mm, and refreshes the phone, GPU and
watch pages changed since the last dump.
