OK, Presumably wont take too long. Maybe @joa-quim can ask since I think he knows those guys?
I would like to get 6.5 sooner than later. Once the remote data are finalised I think we can do it.

The version 2.2 (which fixes the bug south of 60 °S) was just released. I will try to update the grid soon (this week).

For the record. I updated the grid in the candidate server. I test it with remote_map_earth_check.sh and I got this figure. Looks right.

The steps to follow (I think) are:

• Download the new version and process it.
• Update the files in the candidate server.
• Test the files in candidate.generic-mapping-tools.org.
• Update the info in gmt_data_server.txt in the candidate server.
• Update the files in the main server.
• in the remote-datasets repository, update the information for of the grid and in the changelog.
• Close this issue.

I've just update the grid in the main server (oceania). It looks fine.
