We started using async ElasticSearch indexing in our Neos 8 projects. Now that comes with the problem that using ElasticSearch queries on caches pages might end up outdated, if someone visits the page between the publishing of the node (which flushes the cache) and the indexing.
The aspect flushes the content cache for the node to be indexed to avoid that problem.
