Show district or represented-area maps for lookup results #7

Description

@k7lim

Problem

Representative results would be easier to understand if users could see the district or region each official represents. District size and boundaries are part of the civics context, especially when comparing senators, representatives, and local offices.

Desired behavior

  • Show a map or boundary visualization for represented areas when reliable geometry is available.
  • Visually connect each representative to their represented district or region.
  • Make the selected region readable without implying more precision than the source data supports.
  • Document boundary source, vintage, redistricting caveats, and known gaps.
  • Provide a graceful fallback when district geometry is missing or stale.

Notes

This lines up with docs/roadmap.md under Districts And Maps. Candidate sources may include Census geographies, OpenStates district data, TIGERweb, or a later provider with bundled district geometry.
