Hello,
So as you may know, AppleHDA was removed in macOS Tahoe
there's a way to bring it back, by installing KDK + AppleHDA.kext from an older version
That works ( required for AppleALC ) but it's kinda inconvenient imho
And this whole thing has to be done again on every Apple update !
So I've tried to use VoodooHDA (which I remember from old times)
This needed a simple fix which is in this pull request
Tested Ok with a Lenovo T480 - ALC257
I'm gonna test soon on a X260
