Description

Altering the quantity of an item in exosuit inventory causes the item slot to be empty upon loading in

Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Load a save via nomnom and edit it
  2. Enter the exosuit inventory select 'details' on any stackable item
  3. Change the quantity (say from 100 to 1000 or 9 to 10)
  4. Save the changes
  5. Log into NMS and open the altered save, check inventory.

Expected Behavior

Increasing the number of an item in an inventory slot should simply increase the number of that item in game.

Additional Context

  • Version: 5.20.1+bfbf76d718667321ed3e88ec6eff3a46ce98d692 (auto-updater said 5.20.2 but this is in the about section)
  • Platform: Steam
  • Inventory editing worked as expected three days ago before updating the package (which occurred about two hours prior to this post)
  • Adding an item via a blank inventory slot works as intended, only altering an existing stack produces this error.

I've had the same problem, on the GOG version.

Edit: Seems to be a duplicate of #143.
