When using multiple Firefox add-ons, identifying which one is causing a minor issue can be quite troublesome. It would be very helpful to have an official page listing add-ons that are known to negatively impact browser performance or alter expected behavior, or an indicator within the browser that warns users about such add-ons.
For example, here are some issues I’ve encountered:
"I don't care about cookies," "I still don't care about cookies," and "Tampermonkey" slow down startup. Normally, the browser loads pages immediately upon launch, but with these add-ons enabled, the pages only start loading after the browser is fully launched, adding several seconds of delay. Additionally, when restoring or opening new tabs, there is a chance of getting stuck on a blank page. (Other users have also reported potential memory leaks caused by Tampermonkey. Violentmonkey, on the other hand, runs smoothly without such issues.)
Tree Style Tab affects tab behavior even when the sidebar is closed:
If there were a dedicated page or an indicator within the browser that summarizes add-ons known to interfere with normal browser functionality, users could quickly check it when they encounter issues instead of troubleshooting each add-on individually. Would it be possible to create such a resource?
