Ember fork is incompatible with jQuery UI

There's a fork for emberjs: https://github.com/lukemelia/jquery-ui-ember/blob/master/js/app.js

Problem is the line mentioned here: http://stackoverflow.com/a/10374728/625422

Any ideas how to properly fix this?
