Huge plots in PDF printout

Greetings,

After an absence of a year or two, I recently returned and was delighted to find version 24.02.1 available in the Software Manager. It has fixed and improved many things which had previously bothered me. So, this is a huge thank-you to the hard-working team! wxMaxima really looks and behaves great. I use Linux Mint Cinnamon 22, by the way.

I am having one difficulty with printing a worksheet to a PDF, though. In particular, I have several histogram plots in it, and have set their size to 800 by 675. This looks just fine on the video screen.

However, when sending the worksheet to a PDF, the plot automatically always expands to fill the entire page width---huge, and in fact runs off the right edge a trifle.

No matter how I resize the plot in the worksheet, it still wants to print so to fill the page width. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
