This allows you to build Wayland lock screens in GTK, for any compositor that supports the session lock protocol.
It actually landed a little while ago, but I now have tests in place and have played with it enough to be happy with the API. You can find that here. Any ideas for what you might build with it? Any final suggestions before I release, at which point the API will remain stable?
One particular wrinkle is popups (such as tooltips) don't work while the session is locked, because unlike with Layer Shell popups aren't supported by the underlying protocol. I might be able to work around that if it would be significantly helpful to anyone.
