When we operate some document software, to what extent does the screen reader need to provide narration? For example, should it only narrate the contents within the toolbar? Take the Word document in the picture below as an example. If the screen reader only narrates the controls in the Ribbon, can it meet the requirements? Or does it also need to narrate the content of the main text being edited? Some attributes of the text, such as bold, underline, italic, color, highlight, font size, font type, superscript, and subscript. Do they need to be read out ? In the main text, if there are pictures, how should they be narrated? Another example is the Excel software. What kind of effect should the screen narration achieve?
