• dbus process wont work and wont be able to screenshare/use xdg desktop portal on non systemd distros mangowm/mango#1127
• Unable to record screen using OBS. wlroots: no output found mangowm/mango#1162

The reported behavior appears to be related to issues already discussed upstream. The current Void package (0.14.4) predates newer upstream releases that include multiple fixes for XDG portals and screen sharing.

Expected behaviour

Screen sharing should work correctly in applications using xdg-desktop-portal, such as OBS Studio and Discord.

Actual behaviour

Screen sharing fails in OBS Studio and Discord when using mangowc 0.14.4.

This behavior is similar to the upstream reports regarding XDG portals and screen sharing.

Steps to reproduce

1. Boot into a Wayland session using mangowc 0.14.4.
2. Start OBS Studio or Discord.
3. Start screen sharing.
4. Screen sharing fails to start (or no screen/window can be selected).
