Dynamic resolution not working in Kali

i guess it change resolution to adapt screen size according to requirement is i can make it full screen as well as resize...but with utm 4.0.8 its not happening

i do double click in 3.1.4 it makes is full screen if i want to resize can do that as well but in 4.0.8 if i make it full screen can see black borders surrounding screen and automatically being reduced to small screen
