Well it depends, if the fontlog is always in the same path (root for instance) we don’t have to specify this path.

I'm just following up on a concern raised previously, that FONTLOG may be in the source folder or in multiple locations. So this here could be a possible solution for it.

You are right. In this case the FONTLOG path could be an alternative to a FONTLOG file at root.
In fact, if this architecture comes to be generated by a build (poke @rlafuente) we will not have to care about this path, FONTLOG will be generated from font source, and always in present at the root.
