Love how fast this is versus picom! However I'm running into the issue where, when used with i3's stacked or tabbed layout, my transparent terminal shows the tab behind it. On picom you could fix this using active opacity, but I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same here. Also related question but is there a configuration file that you can edit besides having to run it with flags? Thanks!

Hi and thanks for the report. However, I cannot reproduce. So I've tested several picom versions, for instance v11.2 and called it this way: picom-11.2 --config /dev/null --active-opacity 1.0.. I also configured mate-terminal to have a transparent background:
Edit/Profile preferences/Background/Shade transparent background

With i'3s stacked layout, I can see the text "SHOULD_NOT_BE_VISIBLE" through the terminal, so apparently picom's active-opacity isn't working.

I suspect you are using a different terminal/settings, so, in order to fix this, you'd have to provide more info.
Cheers
Tycho
