closely related to #2363 - something distorts the ocarina like sound that is playing on OP3, and I'm not really sure what exactly is causing that.

ch3 is still just 1 voice so giving it multiple new intrument changes was making the actual intrument playing in the channel override itself in a weird way
hence the jitter/flutter/distotion

I don't know whether I should keep it open, as if furnace's ch3 mode need any change

no i think you should keep it open because (related)
randcsm.fur.zip muting the op channels doesnt seem to work correctly
(when op4 unmuted the loud beep is short but when muted it becomes long and seemingly comes from all ops)
