On wine with thcrap_configure_v3 (and likely with the legacy configure as well), the recursive games search doesn't seem to work: there are reports of people needing to select each game's directory individually in order to have them appear in the games' list.

(note: I didn't try to reproduce it, I don't know if it happens every time for everyone or only for some users / in some conditions).

This have been reproduced with the "Find games in a specific folder…" button, so this isn't an issue with the "search everywhere" button not searching hard enough. I guess this is either the recursive search not working, or maybe something when more than 1 game is found?

Also, it doesn't happen every time. We don't know yet how to reproduce it consistently.

I gave a try on the deck again, with a new thcrap install, I was able to run thcrap.exe in proton and when selecting the folder where my games are, it failed to detect them (showed the progress bar but quickly stopped as if nothing happened); selecting a game folder directly didn't result in that behavior however and added the game.

the resulting log is thcrap_log.txt, I'll add that this log only shows the attempt at selecting the folder where all games are, it doesn't reflect the case of selecting directly a game folder.

I don't know if it is proton specific, or deck specific (I believe it happened to me on mint, but I can't reproduce it anymore it seems), or if it is reproductible with a regular steam install on a computer. The log shows an error about Filesystem_error or something, so I'd assume it might be related.
