Choppy scrolling after install on Ubuntu 12.04 MacBook Pro #139
Description
I've just installed the starter kin following the instructions to get it from the maramalade package repository.
What I'm seeing is that as soon as it's installed, two-finger scrolling in buffers starts being incredibly choppy. Uninstalling the starter-kit restores smooth scrolling.
What would be causing this? I've checked to see if the values of:
mouse-wheel-scroll-amount
mouse-wheel-progressive-speed
mouse-wheel-follow-mouse
scroll-step
are changed by the starter-kit, and they aren't. I've also tried enabling and disabling scroll-bar-mode, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
I'm on a MacBook Pro under Ubuntu 12.04
I've installed emacs 24 from Damien Cassou's emacs-snapshot ppa: https://launchpad.net/~cassou/+archive/emacs/+packages
