Text elements causing horizontal overflow

Hi 👋 I'm not great with css so I'm experimenting with Tailwind to make my life easier. So far, it really is, bar for some unexplainable (to me) horizontal overflow on text elements at unspecified / random breakpoints.

When resizing the browser window horizontally, occasionally horizontal overflow is intorduced on / by text elements in the header and footer of the page, and cannot for the live of me figure out why:
