If a subscription delay is set that is before the current date, there can be issues like double charging, where both the initial and recurring payments are charged during the initial checkout.
The fix that I'm proposing is to have error messages that are present similar to the Braintree errors when a plan has not been created for a given membership level, and maybe also proposing in that message to use a placeholder, such as Y2, instead.
