When using PSR-12, how exclude rule for opening brace to start on next line for function definitions?

Basically I want to follow the PSR-12 rules with an exception. I don't want opening braces after function/method definitions to have to start on a new line. I'm using a ruleset.xml file with:

<ruleset name="OurStandard">
    <description>Our custom phpcs coding standard for this project</description>
    <rule ref="PSR12"/>
</ruleset>
