converting directly from xml to json is messed up

because the xml is messed up, the dish readings should be child nodes of stations but they are not, so have to parse node by node in order to keep track of station values by spacecraft (because we don't have the list of dish names that correlates them to stations.. this is toward correlating station names with spacecraft names)
