Compiler not published as ESM?

How is this meant to be used in a browser, since browsers don't support commonjs?

it's kind of hard to see what is actually exported, since so much content is in strings 😅

(turns out esm.sh is a better source viewer than npm haha)

The compiler is meant to be imported as a raw js file (and so is bundled fully, into what should basically be an iife) because esm support for workers was limited (missing in firefox) until recently
