Brownie does not run Ganache

On lesson 5 on 4:36:32, when I run the code below,

brownie run scripts/deploy.py

it does not run ganache, and it does not spit out an address and private key. I've managed to overcome errors up until this point running snippets of code that are online, but I cannot find an answer to this one. And also, it may have been affected by the snippets of code that I pasted.

I am not really sure of the reason behind this phenomenon. Could someone please help me with this problem?

Is ganache-cli added to your path? please run ganache-cli and see if it throws any errors.
Also the message says 127.0.0.1:8545 does the script works if you have ganache ui running?

It says ganache-cli is deprecated as well on nmp

Use this command on your terminal and then try again:
rm -rf /Users/taiga/.npm-global/lib/node_modules/
this should empty you npm node_modules folder and get rid of your conflicts.

I deleted it, ran npm install ganache --global , but now it spits out zsh: command not found: ganache.
Does this mean the installation process fail?
I see ganache inside node_modules so I am confused whether it succeeded or not. Do you know?

As you have .zsh and not .bash did you add nvm to path as nvm suggest?
