I would like to know the 'Release Date' of the Earth Orientation Parameters saved internally in the built-in UT1-tables.
When downloading the IERS data (programmatically) myself, I use the following logic to extract the 'Release Date':
This date is used to print a page footer in 'skyalmanac' Nautical Almanac tables like this:
which may be useful when comparing printed data. However I see no way to obtain this date from Skyfield's built-in (IERS) UT1 tables - in the case that these are used in preference to downloading the latest finals2000A.all explicitly.
My request is if this could be returned (maybe by a new function) from Skyfield in future.
