I created this module to fly my 2.4 wings casually without the need to set up the bulky 2.4 ground station. The range is absolutely plenty - up to 8km with just a pair of CPL Singularity antennas, even more with a patch. This is not meant to be a replacement for a good ground station for real LR flights.

In this Wiki I will document the build of this module. Please be advised I am not responsible for any screw ups or errors. You doing this at you own risk. Always check you work before plugging the module in your goggles - otherwise you risk to damage them.

Tools you will need:
• Fine soldering iron (like TS100: https://t1p.de/fgpz)
• Solder/solder paste
• Good tweezers
• Solder wick
• Flux (I prefer this one: https://t1p.de/t6w0)
• Desoldering pump
• Hotair soldering station (https://t1p.de/jkao) or reflow oven
• Soldering microscope, optional but this one is helping me a lot: (https://t1p.de/xw90)
• Capton tape
• Side cutter
• TinyUSB flashing tool (https://t1p.de/rhbn)
• FTDI tool

• 1x PCB
• 1x 2.54 Pin header - long version (https://t1p.de/ii4g)

Est. material cost for JUST ONE module is about 70$ incl. shipping. Shipping is actually about 45% of the whole sum and you have much more components than needed.

Est. material cost for FIVE modules: about 30$ each. What you do with the other four is up to you :)

Building this requires very good soldering skills and about 2 hours of work for a single module.
