Claude Usage Tracker is a Chrome extension that provides visual feedback on your Claude.ai usage efficiency. This privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

The Claude Usage Tracker extension:

  • Only reads usage information displayed on your Claude.ai settings/usage page
  • Processes all data locally within your browser
  • Does not send any information to external servers
  • Does not use analytics or tracking services
  • Does not store any data beyond the current browser session

What We Access

The extension only accesses:

Data Storage

  • No persistent storage: The extension does not store any data between sessions
  • No cookies: The extension does not create or use cookies
  • No local storage: The extension does not use browser local storage or IndexedDB
  • No cloud storage: No data is sent to or stored on external servers

Third-Party Services

The Claude Usage Tracker extension:

  • Does not integrate with any third-party services
  • Does not share data with any third parties
  • Does not use advertising networks
  • Does not use analytics services

Permissions Explained

The extension requests the following permissions:

activeTab

This permission allows the extension to access the currently active tab when you're on the Claude.ai usage page. It's required to inject the usage efficiency indicators.

scripting

This permission allows the extension to inject the visual indicator script on the Claude.ai usage page.

Host Permission: https://claude.ai/*

This permission restricts the extension to only operate on Claude.ai pages.

Children's Privacy

This extension is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
