A complete framework for web automation, end-to-end testing, and [user-onboarding](https://github.com/seleniumbase/SeleniumBase/blob/master/examples/tour_examples/ReadMe.md). SeleniumBase uses [pytest](https://github.com/pytest-dev/pytest) for running Python scripts, while using [Selenium WebDriver](https://www.seleniumhq.org/) for controlling web browsers.

If you don't already have **``python``** installed, you can get it from: **[python.org/downloads](https://www.python.org/downloads/)**[<imgsrc="https://img.shields.io/pypi/pyversions/seleniumbase.svg"alt="" />](https://www.python.org/downloads/)

Then upgrade **``pip``** for installing **``python``** packages:

```bash
python -m easy_install -U pip
To isolate **``python``** dependencies between projects, you can create a Virtual Environment. See the **[ReadMe](https://github.com/seleniumbase/SeleniumBase/blob/master/help_docs/virtualenv_instructions.md)** for instructions. (<i>You can also read the official tutorial from **[python.org](https://packaging.python.org/guides/installing-using-pip-and-virtual-environments/)**</i>)
You'll notice that a logs folder, "latest_logs", was created to hold information about the failing test, and screenshots. Take a look at what you get. Remember, this data can be saved in your MySQL DB and in S3 if you include the necessary plugins in your run command (and if you set up the neccessary connections properly). For future test runs, past test results will get stored in the archived_logs folder if you have ARCHIVE_EXISTING_LOGS set to True in [settings.py](https://github.com/seleniumbase/SeleniumBase/blob/master/seleniumbase/config/settings.py).
