Function implementation for self.c_tagger.viterbi()

I am trying to port this code to TypeScript, inorder to do so I need to see how the model.prediction() works. At the end it boils down to Tagger.tag() fucntion call for which I am not able to find the source-code https://python-crfsuite.readthedocs.io/en/latest/pycrfsuite.html#pycrfsuite.Tagger.tag

On checking the _pycrfsuite.pyx file located at https://github.com/scrapinghub/python-crfsuite/blob/master/pycrfsuite/_pycrfsuite.pyx, it calls a self.c_tagger.viterbi(). But I am unable to further see how this method is implemented.
Can anyone please point me to the source code.
