OS complains it cannot install the rpm.

Looks like it is because Hutspot supports SSL1.0 and Sailfish has dropped support for 1.0 and just supports 1.1.

The chum / obs builds were built with SSL 1.1 support. They are available at: https://api.merproject.org/package/show/sailfishos:chum/hutspot or by using the chum gui installer.

A new release is currently building to support SFOS 4.4 logins with a new WebView component.
