hello team! Actually, I was analyzing the code of EXOTIC and tried to run it on a Windows machine. The error pops up during the execution of the command: start cmd /k exotic-gui.

I got this error when trying to install Exotic on Windows. I placed a pause in the script run_exotic_windows.bat, so I could see what happened right before start cmd /k exotic-gui.
It turned out that the last package didn't install, but the error message explained that this was because I didn't have the expected version of Visual C++ installed on my machine. The message was helpful enough to include the URL, so I could install the software from Microsoft.
After installing Visual C++, the script ran successfully, and Exotic GUI opened as expected.
