Constant error message under vscode-rust

I'm getting the following message fairly regularly (every time I save?):

[Error - 11:32:38 AM] Request textDocument/definition failed.
Message: GotoDef failed to complete successfully
Code: -32601

(This is my first issue submission, I reviewed the guidelines, but please let me know if I am violating any protocols)

Its basically worthless right now and has been broken the past 3 days with constant crashes.

Switched back to legacy mode for now. Racer is solid.
