This is a tracking issue for finding a long-term home for the Community team.

Leads Members (team has no leads currently):

Hey there all, I'm James, the Leadership Council member for the Launching Pad Team, and as part of #118, I'm starting the triage process of trying to find permanent homes for teams currently under the launching pad.

In this first pass, I'm making tracking issues for each of the teams, starting the discussion on whether y'all think there is a reasonable team you think would make sense to move under, and in general checking whether the members of these teams are still actively working on things related to these teams.

As the Community team also has a number of subteams with a diverse set of people on each team, I'll also be creating separate tracking issues for each of the subteams.

I know that at least some of the subteams are still active, could anyone help me enumerate the current activities and responsibilities of the top level Community team, and whether this team is generally still active?

If so, are there any members we should look to promote to "leads"?

Thank you!

For the better half of this year I already had a todo item on my list:
Write up all the things that are currently still somewhat handled.
I can do that, might even get that out in the next week.

Thank you @badboy, I think that would definitely be useful! I would be interested in feedback from any of the other members mentioned in the main issue!
