For the past 5 weeks I have been struggling on and off to figure out how to build this app from source. The goal of my team is to modify the application to work on a Nvidia Shield and to take advantage of the built in joysticks. Our problems are with satisfying the dependencies rosjava and android_core. I suspect part of the problem is that I am using Groovy. There is an android_telop app in the app store so I know it is possible. I have gotten absolutely nowhere trying to compile the libraries for use with Eclipse or Android Studio. If anyone could help point me in the right direction, or provide a maven repository for the needed files I would be grateful and would happily update documentation for the related repositories with my new knowledge.

Thanks

I'm a little out of the loop to help you on the build system, but I can point you to an app that uses rosjava on the nvidia shield. I might even be able to dig up an apk for you.

Thanks to @mirzashah and @ahendrix for this.
