Element Content Rename?

After installing the XML extension, I used F2 to modify the Tag Name, and it worked perfectly—very convenient.

However, when I tried to do the same for the Element Content, it prompted The element can't be renamed.

Is this due to some technical limitation, or is there another shortcut key to quickly select and modify the Element Content? Thanks.

Why you want rename element content? Please give a sample with XML that you want to rename.

Rename is used to rename the current content and other content (ex : rename attr (start tag) rename end tag).

If you rename demo, what other content it should be renamed?

I don't see the value of rename with element content.

I suppose it shouldn't involve modifying other content.

In terms of actual functionality, rename might not be the most appropriate term, but I currently can't figure out how to directly select the complete content of the demo node (the actual scenario might be more complex, such as including spaces or hyphens, etc.) using a shortcut key, and then copy, cut, or directly input other content to replace demo.

The rename function is somewhat similar to this. In my opinion, automatically selecting node content shouldn't be too difficult -- I might just not have found the right approach or the corresponding shortcut key.

Ok I see now why you want to use rename feature. I don't know if rename is applicable for this usecase since rename is a kind of refactoring.

If you place your cursor somewhere with the text "demo", then hit Alt+Shift+Right Arrow a few times (I think you'll only need to do it once), it should select the content of the element. This is the keybinding for Linux and probably Windows, the keybinding for this feature are likely different on macOS.

It works, but it's still odd. The Tag Name can be modified and copied after being selected all at once, but there's no way to do the same with the Element Content.
