Summary

The port list at https://ranchermanager.docs.rancher.com/getting-started/installation-and-upgrade/installation-requirements/port-requirements#rancher-aws-ec2-security-group does not align with what Rancher actually creates if you use the Rancher managed "rancher-nodes" security group option. The table in documentation lists 12 rules, but when created from Rancher the SG will actually contain 17 rules:
