Is it possible to use Quarto with an upgraded version of Mermaid?

Quarto 1.7.33 seems to use Mermaid 11.2. Is there a way to upgrade the Mermaid version locally? For Typst, there is an environment variable that can be used to specify a different path. Is something like this available for Mermaid?
