More responsive/wider sidebar

The current sidebar is quite narrow and on some pages cuts off quite a lot of the text:

Some possible solutions:

• Increase the sidebar width (and maybe center the main content?)
• Make the sidebar resizable

Please make the sidebar resizable. I have a 4K monitor and current sidebar + text is half the width of my screen. The defaults could also be adjusted a bit to screen size.
