Fix lag in applying styles when home page loads.

When page loads there is a clear visual lag before some styles are applied to text introduced recently (tested on some old branch locally and the lag does not exist).
I tried to pinpoint what is causing it and it is the loading of the google map, but it was being loaded on the old branch as well and there it does not cause any lag - so something is not right.
Further investigation required.
