Find coordinates in a pdf-viewer?

Hello - i have a general question regarding annotating some information in a pdf document -

Generall this works fine for me using eg. the following code:

import pymupdf
fname = "inp.pdf"
with pymupdf.open(fname) as doc:  
  for page in doc:    
    text = page.get_text("words", sort=True)
    page.add_redact_annot((257.959716796875, 138.18658447265625, 286.3296813964844, 147.19580078125), fill = (0, 0, 0))

  doc.save('out.pdf')   

But what is not clear for me is how i can find this 4 position-parameters when i am viewing a pdf-file eg. with Adobe Acrobat Pro?
Is there any way to see this coordinates when checking a pdf-document in a viewer?
Or how are you doing this to get the coordinates you want to use them to annotate later with pymupdf?

Just as an aside: Your code snippet removes all content overlapping the given rectangle.
Also, I do not see what you are doing with the extracted words.

Accessing the coordinates is not normally a feature of PDF viewers. Some, like this one

provide measurement features on the displayed page. The shown values (usually inches, meters, centimeters, etc.) must however be converted to points, which are the coordinates needed in all document processing software. One point = 1/72 inches.

The common use case is first searching for text, images, vector graphics, etc. and then use the returned coordinates.
