Please add a license

Please add a license for these files. Presumably it's something similar to xarray itself, but there's nothing explicit here.

PS, a tag would be nice, too.

In the abstract, I agree here but the exact license is at least a little vague:

• tiny is a tiny synthetic dataset (only a few bytes in size)
• air_temperature is from the NCEP reanalysis, which is a US government work: https://catalog.data.gov/dataset/ncep-ncar-reanalysis-1 (likely not protected by copyright)
• rasm is something @jhamman ran using the RASM model.

I'd support adding a CC-BY-like license here if its technically possible. I'm not worried about the RASM data but I'm not sure how adding a license to the NCEP data would work.

We since added a bunch more data, and we still need a license...

I think it's fine to provide a minimal license like CC-BY, even for data that is not protected by copyright -- there's nothing that stops us from making a non-copyrighted dataset also available under creative commons.

But we'll definitely need somebody to track down licensing details for all of the datasets here.
