Don't reinvent the wheel. Just partner up with kraken.io, configure your own file storage as CDN on their platform, and use the full power of their image API.

While this is a fantastic idea, we currently don't have the time & resources to invest in this. Since it can be hosted standalone from Graphcool, maybe someone wants to take over? 🙂

Interesting indeed. Didn't know about kraken.io.

But having a homemade serverless solution is more powerful than relying on a 3rd party, especially if you have to integrate APIs anyway.
