Settings are not stored persistent

I recently installed this firmware on my SON OFF S26r2 and it seems to work perfectly.

However, none of the settings seem to be persistent after a reboot. After changing any setting ( triggers, anti-seize timer ) it will notify that the setting has been saved successfully, but after a reboot or power outage, the settings are restored to factory default again.
Doing a factory reset does not fix the issue. I noticed that the wifi credentials are persistent.

I assume you haven’t modified the SONOFF S26R2. The standard S26R2 ships with a 1 MB flash chip, which I replaced with a 2 MB version so that OTA updates, etc., work properly. The software now assumes a 2 MB chip is present, so the settings are probably not being persisted.

Ah, that explains. Would it be possible to fix the storage in the 1MB version? i imagine the size requiried for the settings is quite small.

If the sourcecode is available, I can take a swing at it.

I think it would only need a rebuild and specifying a 1 MB flash size. The OTA would not work but I think that is fine for you.
I will have a look tomorrow and create the binary for you.

I recompiled the project with 1MB Flash Size.

Very nice, it fixes the issue completely, and power-cycling or restarting does not erase the stored settings.
