How to create ACME certificates

Hi, I am trying to create ACME certificates and have absolutely no clue how to do that. I created a provider and I would assume that the settings do work. I have domains but how to I create the certificates?

Hi, you need to create an entry in the ACME providers section of the webadmin, the easiest way is to use Let's Encrypt with the TLS-ALPN-01 challenge type. Leave the defaults and then add the hostnames you would like to obtain the certificate for. Also make sure that port 443 is open in your firewall, that it is reachable from the internet and that there are no reverse proxies (such as Cloudflare) in the middle. Finally, save the ACME provider entry and Stalwart will obtain the certificate automatically for you. If that doesn't happen, check the server logs.

thanks for your concern, but I tried every port-/challange combo. But I never get over "ACME authentication started"

I use one domain "domain.com" and two "subdomains" like "lic.domain.com" and "365.domain.com"

For now I purchased a wildcard certificate but there might be some guy like me that wants to get this running and is not able to buy a certificate. I am willing to help! :-D

By the way: I LOVE Stalwart!!!

I'm glad you got it working!

Regarding the original issue, if you can't get past "ACME authentication started" this means that either Let's Encrypt has rate limited your server or that Let's Encrypt can't reach your server.
