Column sorting arrows are opposite of actual sorting behavior

Before you start please confirm the following.

Problem Description

Column sorting arrows are backward or opposite of actual sort behavior.

Expected Behavior

I pull up a list (container, services, stacks) and click the column heading, then the sort arrow should be facing up and the column should be sorted in ascending order, A to Z. I click it again and it should sort in descending order Z - A and the arrow should face down.

Actual Behavior

When lists are sorted in descending order, the arrow currently points upward (incorrect). When lists are sorted in ascending order the arrow currently points downward (incorrect).

Steps to Reproduce

1. Click on Containers (or Services, or Stacks...etc)
2. Click the "Name" column
3. Notice that it sorted in descending order (Z-A) but the arrow faces upward.

Hi @wphampton We don't believe this is incorrect but I am going to change this to a discussion to get wider feedback from the community

Thanks for the consideration. Here are a few big systems I think serve as standard convention on this:

• MS Windows file explorer columns show an up arrow for ascending (A-Z) and a down arrow for descending (Z-A).
• GitHub Issues sort with Newest (down arrow)/Oldest (up arrow)
• Google Drive uses up arrows for ascending and down for descending.
