why columns type is changed after insert data to RDS(MySQL)?

This job is successful
But I check table schema after this job, one column type is changed to BIGINT
The original column was DOUBLE type

This thing could happen?

Have you ever tried type instead of value_type like below?

column_options:
    partitioncollectscheduledatedaymultipleclosinginmonth:
      #value_type: double
      type: double

IIUC, the value_type is the option for convert embulk data (ex. long, 10) to database value (ex. double, 10.0).
If you want to specify dataabse column type, use type option.

If the Embulk type of partitioncollectscheduledatedaymultipleclosinginmonth is long, It will use BIGINT type.

I don't know what kind of Embulk type you are using in the partitioncollectscheduledatedaymultipleclosinginmonth column.
Please attach embulk output log, examle input data and configuration.

I did not know "value_type" is option

I want to keep the same type as the database
so I was supposed to use this "type"

other scripts also use "value_type"
I'll fix it now
