None of the examples can be built

None of the examples contain make file and so, building any of them using provided scripts will be failed
running it on ubuntu 24.04

Hi! This will work on the releases.
Otherwise you can call projectGenerator -o"../../.." . on the commandline in the directory of the example you want to build.
(If projectGenerator isn't installed, see scripts/linux/compilePG.sh, to be found in a release download).
I think the lack of Makefiles in the repo is by design, as you can see in the .gitignore:
