OpenWIFI Maximum Number of Virtual Interface

Hello,
I am evaluating whether OpenWIFI can create multiple STA interfaces and connect to the same SSID (AP). I haven't purchased an SDR yet, and I found the maximum number of VIFs currently defined in OpenWIFI:

I would like to know what the maximum value can be set to and what conditions limit it.
