For example, when users know and get used to ranged/multiple select tabs by shift/ctrl+click, but TMP's default behavior is protecting/locking tabs. Users will probably get confused and need to spend time to dig through TMP's settings to find out the settings. It is not quite friendly for new users.

Maybe it can be two sets of default settings for users to choose when first installed, one for newbies and one for seniors.

Look at our documentation for Mouse Clicking

You can enable Firefox default or let other extensions get control for specific mouse click event by unchecking the box next to specific action.

In other section where we add user interface to change Firefox preference from about config, Firefox default are marked as Bold text.
