Robotjs doesn't work with Electron, current time 2023.11.27 #750

I tried to include robotjs into my new project, npm install electron, npm install robotjs, when start, it alerts :

I tried everything I found on internet, including the official page of https://robotjs.io/docs/electron, it didnt work.

  • RobotJS version: ^0.6.0
  • Node.js version: v16.20.2
  • npm version: 8.19.4
  • Operating System: windows 10

https://github.com/jitsi/robotjs might have helped me with this. I can't remember.

@hqsow As an alternative, nut.js is fully prebuilt for macOS, Windows and Linux and provides an actively maintained alternative to robotjs which works fine with latest Electron.
